We are experienced in serving the insurance needs of diverse franchisees.

Franchises

Franchise owners have unique business profiles and significant financial investments to protect. Dyste Williams understands the relationship between the franchisee and franchisor. From new business owners just starting out to seasoned franchisees with multiple business locations, we’re experienced in serving the insurance needs of diverse franchisees.

The Benefit of Independence

As an independent insurance agency, we can find you the best combination of cost and coverage. We are not tied to one insurance carrier. When we are able to serve additional franchisees in your network, we can often negotiate group rates with a carrier, to the benefit of all.

Customized Programs

By getting to know your individual franchise business, as well as the franchise system, we can provide valuable advice and recommendations that will protect your assets and help you succeed. We believe every franchise owner deserves individual attention and valuable insurance insight, regardless of the size of your business. We’ll meet with you day or evening, at your business location or our offices. If you would like a free, no-obligation preliminary insurance quote prepared for your franchise business, please call us. Business Property and Liability Coverages

Essential business coverages are often packaged together in a Business Owners Policy, a “Bop”. Business Property insurance protects the assets of a business, such as your office space, property and equipment. Business Liability insurance protects from claims that your business caused injury or property damage to someone else. A BOP is often more economical than two separate policies and it can be tailored to fit the unique needs of your franchise business. We can also help you evaluate the need for additional liability coverage, including:

  • Umbrella/Excess Liability
  • Crime
  • Directors and Officers
  • Employment Practices

Workers Compensation

By law, any business with one or more employees must have the protection of Workers Comp insurance. Workers Comp provides benefits to employees that pay for the cost of treating work-related illness or injury. Most policies also include Employers Liability Coverage, which protects employers from lawsuits involving work-related accidents or diseases.

Commercial Auto

Company vehicles like cars, vans, and trucks, as well as personal vehicles used for business, need specific business coverage. For example, if employees use their own vehicles to run errands for the business, they should be covered by a commercial auto policy. Personal auto insurance is often not enough protection on vehicles used for business.

Employee Benefits

Employee benefits are central to recruiting and retaining valuable employees. Your franchisor may have a benefit package in place for your employees. If not, or to supplement those benefits, we can set up benefits such as Life, Health, Disability, Dental, Executive Protection, Life Insurance, Long Term Care, Retirement Programs, and more.

New Franchise Owners

If you’re buying a new franchise, Dyste Williams can simplify the process of obtaining necessary insurance coverage. We’ll help you identify needs and then present you with a range of choices within your budget. The result will be a comprehensive, customized insurance program that provides excellent coverage at a reasonable cost. We’re very experienced with the needs of small business owners.

TESTIMONIALS

Mickie Smith | owner Dunn Bros store, Elk River, MN

To review my insurance needs, Ted walked me through all the choices, and showed how I could save money and increase coverage. He really got to know my needs. For example, when we run out of things, sometimes my employees have to drive to pick things up. Ted suggested employee driving coverage, which no-one had ever mentioned before. The process of setting up coverage was very smooth. They handled everything, and the policies were hand delivered. All I had to do was sign, it was just so nice.
