Dyste Williams is proud to represent OMSNIC (OMS National Insurance Company) in the Upper Midwest and pleased to announce that Bill Passolt, OMSNIC President & CEO, has been recognized for exemplary service to the industry.

Bill is the recipient of the Medical Professional Liability (MPL) Association’s 2021 Award of Excellence in Honor of Peter Sweetland for his contributions and longtime dedication to the medical professional liability insurance community and healthcare professionals. This is the highest award and honor that is bestowed by the MPL Association. He has served as OMSNIC’s President & CEO since 2009, after joining the company in 1992 as Vice President of Finance. Additionally, Bill has served the specialty as a director of the OMS Foundation since 2015 and as the Foundation’s Chair since 2019. In recognition of his service to the specialty, Bill was made an Honorary Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2019, the highest honor awarded to a nonmember.
