Ted Dyste began his career in the insurance industry in 1980, upon graduating from St. Olaf College in Minnesota. He has been active in many industry organizations throughout his career and currently serves as an Executive Board Member of the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers Association. Ted has also served on advisory panels for national insurance companies, including Fireman’s Fund, Fortress Insurance Company, MetLife Auto & Home and Travelers. He has been recognized for individual contributions and performance, receiving Agent of the Year and other accolades from industry groups.

Ted is truly passionate about his work in the insurance industry. He enjoys the close client relationships he and his agency have formed throughout the community and relishes tackling complex situations with creative solutions through insurance. He excels at helping insurance companies understand the unique needs of individual clients.

Dyste Williams is proud of its long standing relationships with the nation’s premier insurance carriers. Travelers, whom they have represented for 80 years, named Ted Dyste Personal Lines Agent of the Year for 2012.

On a personal note, Ted and wife Julie have two adult children, Nels and Laura. As a family, they are avid and accomplished skiers. In warm weather, Ted plays golf regularly with clients and colleagues. He is an Adaptive Skiing Instructor and a volunteer with the Adaptive Golf Program at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute in Golden Valley, Minnesota and serves as a board member with Rotary International Minneapolis Chapter No.9.
